Great work yesterday girls! We tried out a new combination and it worked really well, even with a few players missing, We came away with a strong 26–12 win over Turnford Black in the Stanbourgh League.
Our attack was flowing beautifully 💪🏼
Player of the Match went to Evie, and Coach’s Player of the Match also went to Evie—fantastic work!
Winners! 🧡💙

What a day for our U17s at the @engsportsuk Fast 5 competition! 🔥🏐
10 players took part in an intense but fun tournament where they had to quickly adapt their game — and just go for it! Thinking balls and lobs were flying in full effect 😅🙌
After losing our first two games, it looked like we might not make it through the groups… but the girls adapted, grew with every match, and battled their way to the semi-finals! We then fought hard for 3rd place and only just missed out by 2 goals. 💪
An incredible experience and achievement — especially with no training and with some of our 14-year-olds stepping up to U17 level. So proud of you all! 💙🧡
✨ Players of the Tournament ✨
• Isla A — slotted into Fast 5 perfectly, sinking 2 & 3 pointers left, right, and centre 🎯
• Tomi — relentless work rate, leaping and bouncing around the court to chase every ball 💥
• Honey H — outstanding intercepts & tips, giving everything at GD and C all day long 👏
Well done, girls — what a team! 🐝

A tough game for U12’s navy team today against a strong Hatfield squad but the girls never gave up, giving lots of on court encouragement and support for each other.
Final score was 11-33.
Well done to Evie S for getting Player of the Match and joint Players Player with Daisy, and to Scarlett for getting Coaches Player - great job girls 🧡💙

A nail biting game for the u12 oranges today against Wodson ending in a 22-22 draw!
Some fantastic defensive work and attacking set plays against a tough opposition. Congratulations to Gracie and Amber for oppositions POM, Eva for players player and Peony for coaches player 🧡💙

A good win for the u13s in the GCJNL this morning, beating SAS 20-11. We started with 7 players, who showed their versatility throughout (especially when down to 6 players) and we were leading from the outset.
Thank you to Nelly, from the year below, for helping out in the final quarter when Farrah got injured.
🧡 OPOM Bea
💙 CPOM the whole team for working so hard and being so resilient.

Great win for our U13s today at BDNL! 🏆💙🧡
The girls dug deep and worked hard, adjusting brilliantly to the new 15-minute quarters. There were some very tired legs at the end, but they never gave up — and it showed in the performance. 🙌
It was lovely to welcome Charlotte onto court for her first winter league Hornets match 👏, and a huge well done to all our award winners:
⭐ OPOM: Layla — outstanding at WD, helping bring the ball down court
⭐ CPOM: Lily & Durriyah — brilliant circle defence with interceptions and turnovers
⭐ Umpires POM: Freya — our pocket rocket in the middle!
A fantastic start to the league… and we finished just before the rain hit! 🌧️🐝

A tough start to the BDNL league for our U11 Navy team 💪💙
A very physical Turnford side came out strong and caught us off guard. With a mix of not creating enough space and some loose passes, getting the ball into our attacking end was tricky at times.
✨ But there were also passages of brilliant play that led to some lovely goals — proof of what this team can do when it all clicks!
Well done to everyone, and special shoutouts to:
⭐ OPOM: Sienna
⭐ PPOM: Victoria
⭐ CPOM: Sophie
Proud of the effort — we’ll build from here! 💙💙

2 Senior Teams out at BDNL this morning! 🐝
Our Div 1 team took on a strong Wodson side. We were level at quarter time, but a few lost centres and missed opportunities on some magnificent intercepts meant we went down by 4 at half-time. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t clicking in the attacking end today, and with a very tall shooter to contend with, the challenge to shut down the feed was tough.
👏 Defence worked incredibly hard, pulling off countless tips and intercepts, but overall, we fell short and went down by 15 goals. Lots of lessons to take forward — focusing on ball placement, ballside positioning, and movement. Not the result we wanted, but onwards and upwards! 💪
⭐ Div 1 players of the match
• OPOM: Honey H 👏
• CPOM: Honey H – for consistent play and stacks of intercepts & tips 💙🧡
⸻
Then it was the turn of our Div 2 team — and the sun shone for them! ☀️ They worked hard, turning over plenty of ball and converting to goal. After some early teething problems in the attacking end, the team listened, adjusted, and implemented brilliantly.
💙🧡 Defence were solid throughout, with great tips and intercepts to keep momentum high. We took the lead from the start, and despite a quieter third quarter in the shooting circle, we held strong and finished with a fantastic 33–16 win.
⭐ Div 2 players of the match
• OPOM: Sienna 👏
• CPOM: Ella & Sienna – for brilliant tips, intercepts, and strong play down court 💪

⚡️ A good start to the BDNL for the U11 Orange team this morning with a 34-5 win. At times, the ball flowed lovely down the court, and the whole team defended really well. Libby & Frankie defended brilliantly in the circle.⚡️

Lovely morning of netball for our new senior squad at HDNL today. 💫
We narrowly missed out on the win against wodson, but a very exciting game to watch which could have gone either way. Special mention to India in her first match for Hornets.
🧡💙CPOM were our two incredible circle defence of Anna and Evie who combined with Erin at WD made it very hard for the opposition attack. Well done girls an exciting season of netball ahead of us⚡️

⚡️Back to training for the U14 squad last night!⚡️
💙Great work girls, exciting season ahead 🧡

10 of our U16 Regional squad took to the courts today to play their hearts out in the ERYL Qualifying Tournament!
With an abundance of fantastic teams – and playing up a year group – this bunch of girls worked hard from the very start and produced some really lovely netball. Their determination in the crucial moments paid off, securing a well-deserved Division 1 spot for the upcoming league 💙🧡
Well done to everyone today! Perseverance (and a few sugary sweets 🤣) carried us through to the end and left us in a great position. Bring on the league! #eastregionu16sdiv1 #blueandorangefamily💙🐝🧡
