THE SENIORS aim & vision...

To increase opportunities for adults to play netball, competitively, developmentally or socially.

To become the most popular senior netball club in Hertfordshire

HHNC are a competitive club always striving to improve ourselves and achieve as highly as possible. However, we also want the blue and orange family to be a fun and welcoming netball club where your teammates are your friends both on and off the court.

The Seniors have three main playing pathways; performance, development and social. We think this means as many people as possible can find their place in the blue and orange family, playing at the standard they enjoy! If you want to play performance netball you have the option of playing in the East Regional League or Hertfordshire County League. These teams train either once or twice a week, follow dedicated strength and conditioning programmes and are lead by a team of experienced coaches. If you are looking to develop, you can build your skills in our development squads, playing in weekday leagues and receiving coach-led training once a week to help you improve. Finally if you want to play for fun, make friends and improve your fitness then we have social teams play in weekday and weekend leagues.

The Blues…

are the team who represent the club in East Regional League. They commit to at least 3 training sessions a fortnight, maintenance of a required level of fitness and attendance at tactical and video analysis sessions. They play all games on a Sunday and are led by head coach Stephen. The team aims to compete at the highest level possible and is always looking for new players/ideas to take them to the next level.

The Oranges…

are the team who play in the East Regional league. They commit to at least 3 training sessions a fortnight and attendance at tactical and video analysis sessions. They play all home games on Sundays but can play away games on either Saturdays or Sundays. They are led by Head coach Stephen. The Oranges notoriously have a friendly, inclusive atmosphere but still work hard to achieve their aim of playing in the top regional division.

The Navys…

are the third team who represent the club in the Herts County League Division 1. They commit to 1 training session a week and are led by coaches Alison and Emma. They play all matches on a Saturday at The Ridgeway School in Welwyn Garden City. The Navys have always had a strong team spirit and it is important that this is maintained to ensure their success.

The Flames…

are the fourth team who play in the Herts County League Division 2. They commit to 1 training session a week and are led by Fernanda. They play all matches on a Sunday at The Ridgeway School in Welwyn Garden City. The Flames have always been filled with young talent meaning that their potential and possibilities are endless!

The Royals

The Royals are the fifth team who play in the Herts County League Division 4, a brand new team for the 2023 - 2024 season.

The Ambers…
